The Boucheron store in Paris, located at 26 Place Vendôme, was the first jewelry store to open on the historic square in 1893. The founder, Frédéric Boucheron, chose this location specifically because he believed the sunlight reflecting off the building’s facade would enhance the brilliance of the diamonds displayed in the windows.
